Long description: Acetylation of the tail of histone is known to cause chromatin to adopt a more ÔopenÕ 3D conformation, allowing trans factors grerater access to DNA. Histone acetyltransferases (HATs), complexes interact with sequence-specific activator proteins and target specific genes. In addition to histones, HATs acetylate non-histone proteins, implicating them in a wide variety of regulartory roles for these enzymes. By comparison, histone deacetylation promotes a more ÔclosedÕ chromatin conformation and in general leads to repression of gene activity. Mammalian histone deacetylases are divided into three classes on the basis of their similarity to various the yeast deacetylases. Class I (HDACs 1, 2, 3 and 8) related to the yeast Rpd3-like proteins, class II (HDACs 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10) related to yeast Hda1-like proteins and class III related to the yeast protein Sir2. Inhibitors of HDAC have enormous potential as cancer therapeutic agents.
Antibody come from: SIV-infected SupT1 cells injected into Balb/c mice.
Other description: Purified IgG in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.3.
Clone: not specified
Antigen-antibody binding interaction: HDAC1 antibody Human - Blocking Peptide
Antibody is raised in: see techfile
Antibody's reacts with: Human
Antibody's reacts with these species: This antibody doesn't cross react with other species
Antibody's specificity: No Data Available
Application: Antibody function blocking
Antibody's suited for: For use in flow cytometry and immunohistochemical analyses of the CXCR4 receptor in human cell lines and tissues. Fixation with methanol and/or acetone was shown to destroy the epitope of the 12G5 mAb. 12G5 can be used to block SDF-1-induced chemotaxis and increases of intracellular calcium. The optimal antibody concentration should be determined for each specific application.

Properties: If you buy Antibodies supplied by nordc they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.blocking peptide,Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
Test: You can block the antibody by the specific target amino acid sequence of peptide.
Description: Peptides short amino acid chains or epitopes or blocking antagonists. The shortest peptides are dipeptides, consisting of 2 amino acids joined by a single peptide bond, followed by tripeptides, tetra peptides, ... till polypeptides that are long, continuous, and unbranched synthetic peptide chains. These biological oligomers and polymers can be Solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), or in continue produced for custom peptide synthesis projects. The High-efficiency solid phase peptide synthesis (HE-SPPS) is give very low production costs.
